The UK Government grants £11m for the Krishna Avanti Primary School (KAPS) in Harrow, leaving just £1m to raise from donors.

Avanti opens first state-funded Hindu school in UK history

KAPS secures its first Ofsted inspection and is graded ‘good’ with outstanding features.

Royal Festival Hall Performance
Avanti has the first of two performances of Swanibhava Crew and Band at London’s iconic Royal Festival Hall (opened in 1951 and one of the world’s leading performance venues).

Hindu ethos school in the south of the Thames.
Downing Street
